We’ve all heard some variation of the above statement and it’s true. If you work hard at a goal, you will eventually succeed at it; I am aware some people unfortunately don’t find success. So work hard! Achieve success. I was about to add “and live happily” but we all know what happens when we work too hard. Our lives become our work and we lose ourselves. Working hard can only bring us this glorified, but limited success measured by your paycheck. No one cares if you are happy at your job. They only care that you do it and you do it well to earn your pay.

We can relax. We can remember that whatever shit we get into will always pass. No matter how the day may be going, time will not falter and soon you will fall asleep and the bad day will be over. You’ll wake up the next morning to face a new day filled with hope or drama which will eventually come to the same ending with you falling asleep. “Everyday is a new day”. We have all heard this one as well in one variation or another but we forget to leave behind the dramas of the past and focus on the “new” future. We can learn to love, to play, to do what we feel like doing without consideration to other people’s judgment**. Occupations are not permanent and we can all drop what we are doing to do what we enjoy. Don’t tell me you can’t, because you can and you are the only person stopping yourself. Live life. Work at what you love and success will show up eventually. Even if at first the very people that measure success from your paycheck don’t approve, at least you know that you won’t waking up every morning wishing you weren’t going out to work. The only reason you should be refusing to wake up early for work is because you went to sleep late last night working on something you were so heavily interested in.
And be the best at whatever you want to do. If you are the best, no one can afford to let your talent go. Bam. Success in both happiness and finances.

fuck. i hate sunday nights. cuz you know you have school the next day, and you have to get up, do work, and be productive. I wish everyday was like today, but i wish it was saturday. I napped for 3 hours, and watched movies, my parents decorated the tree and finished the house decorations inside. its raining and all i want to do and snuggle, and watch more movies by the fire.
but i have homework to do. i wish i had done it friday or some other time today. so i wouldn’t end up doing it on sunday night like i always end up doing.
